Branding Expansion | Poppy’s
Menu design
Poppy’s came to me with an established logo and aesthetic. That aesthetic was reflected in the design of their cafe, but not in their promotional materials. My first project was translating that aesthetic into menu form.
Website design
While designing the new Poppy’s menu, I was able to pinpoint the elements that defined the brand: simplicity, airiness and the use of negative space. I then worked with BentoBox to redesign the Poppy’s website to incorporate these elements. Secondary elements which were previously black became dusty pink, softening the overall appearance of the website.
Merchandise design
Poppy’s originally only offered merchandise that featured their logo, but wanted to expand their offerings to include funkier elements. I created new designs for t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats and bandanas to bring more variety to their shelves.
